How can we learn from the past if history has been changed?
Life goes by so fast so don’t think it odd or strange
That the first will be the last and God will re-arrange us
As He begins to change us into the likeness of His son.
Behold, old things have passed away - a new life has begun.
When we’re broken and in pieces we’ll be open to see Jesus
Not as a genie meant to please us or a treaty to appease us
He’s the Alpha and the Omega; the beginning and the end
He’s the author of salvation, our savior and our friend.
He’s the Great I AM, the lion and the lamb who gave his life
He’s the Ram of Abraham who was the perfect sacrifice
How can they believe if they’ve never even heard?
Be not deceived. Believe in His word.
His name is Jesus, He’s The Christ
The Lamb of God who gave His life
He was the perfect sacrifice
Came to bring eternal life
He’s comin’ soon, so watch and pray
Mornin’, noon night or day
He’s the truth, the life, the way
So ask Him in, begin today…

DARE HOLD NO GRUDGE

Before the throne of time and space we kneel with bated breath
We see the signs of law and grace, of God and hate and death
Each breath we breathe I do believe could lead us to success
But no one knows where spirit goes; all we can do is guess

Dare hold no grudge before the judge
Who sits upon the throne
Lest we be left, alone, bereft
With hearts as cold as stone
All we know is what we’ve been told
We’ll reap just what we’ve sown

Each moment brings so many things; I just hope we pass the test
Some heed the call, some lead, some fall, some are just obsessed
Pawns and kings must don their wings and leave their earthly nest

How are we supposed to meet your standard of perfection?
Were the ten commandments supposed to be the ten suggestions?
